The Sackflechte ( Solorina saccata ), also called Schrotschussflechte, is a Laubflechte from the order of the Lecanoromycetes.
Description
The bearing upper side is gray-green to brownish, wet fresh green, the underside white to brownish, with long rhizines. The brown apothecia, 2-6 mm in size, are deeply sunk in the thallus. In addition to green algae of the genus Coccomyxa one often finds cyanobacteria ( as internal cephalodia ) in stock. From related species it differs by the four two-cell spores in the asci.
Location and distribution
In Germany the lowlands ( rarely) to the mountains ( often) spread. Comes from the mountains of the Mediterranean to the Arctic before. The Sackflechte grows in shady areas on calcareous soils, often in rock crevices.
