Soltan Bakht Agha Mausoleum

The Soltan Bacht - Agha Mausoleum (Persian آرامگاه سلطان بخت آقا, IPA: ɑɾɑmɡɑh ɛ soltɑn bæxt ɑqɑ ) is a historic mausoleum in the Iranian city of Isfahan. Bacht Soltan Agha was the niece of King Shah Sheikh Abu Esshaq of the dynasty of Injuiden who ruled some parts of Iran.

After the murder of her uncle by the rival Muzaffariden to Agha Soltan Bacht decided to marry their rulers Mubariz ed- Din Muhammad in order to influence the court of Mozaffariden and cause a rift among the princes. My brother- Dschalaleddin, helped her. After a while Mubariz ad-Din Muhammad noticed the intrigue of his wife and ordered to kill them. After the murder of Agha Soltan Bacht conquered Dschalaleddin Isfahan and ordered to build a grand mausoleum on her tomb.
