Solveig Rogstad

Solveig Rogstad (born 31 July 1982) is a former Norwegian biathlete.

Solveig Rogstad took between 2001 and 2003 annually in the Junior World Championships in biathlon. Your best results they achieved already at their first participation in 2001 in Khanty-Mansiysk. Here, she finished fourth in the sprint, tenth in the pursuit and fifth with the Norwegian season. Since 2003, she also appeared in the European Cup, improved there slowly but steadily. 2004 Rogstad could compete in the Biathlon World Cup in Ostersund for the first time and was 72nd in the sprint. In Kontiolahti they could achieve at the beginning of the 2007/08 season in a sprint race as 20th first World Cup points. In the subsequent pursuit race she ran in seventh for the first time among the top ten. My biggest success was a victory in the pursuit in Ruhpolding 2008. Six of their nine top ten results they achieved this season and finished 14th overall. In addition, Rogstad 2008 first participated at the Biathlon World Championships. In Östersund was the Norwegian tenth in singles, 15th in sprint, 24th of persecution, 16th in the mass start and sixth in the relay. In November 2011, Rogstad declared retirement from competitive sport to enroll in medical school.
