Sölvi Ottesen

Sölvi Geir Ottesen Jónsson (born 18 February 1984 in Reykjavík ) is an Icelandic football player. The defender is currently at FK Ural in the Russian Premjer league contract.

Career

Sölvi Geir Ottesen began his career in his hometown of Reykjavik at Víkingur, where he came to 36 appearances for Víkingur between 2001 and 2004. After three years he moved to Sweden to Djurgården. With the club from Stockholm he won the league and cup double in the second year.

At the end of the 2008 season, he moved to Denmark to Sønderjysk elite sport, where he signed a three year contract. In June 2010 he signed a three- year deal in turn with the Master of the Danish Super League, FC Copenhagen.

Arriving at FCK, Sölvi Ottesen scored the decisive goal in the UEFA Champions League play-off round against Rosenborg which eligible to participate in the Champions League.
