Someday's Dreamers

Someday 's Dreamers (Japanese Maho Tsukai ni Taisetsu na魔法遣いに大切なことKoto, dt "What is a magician important") is a manga series written by Norie Yamada and illustrated by Kumichi Yoshizuki. It first appeared in May 2002 within the magazine Comic Dragon, which was published by Kadokawa Shoten.

The same pair of authors took advantage of this manga series as basis for two other manga series. Building on the first manga, a sequel was published in 2004 entitled The Way of sun and wind. Based again on the second manga series was released, another successor Maho Tsukai ni entitled Taisetsu na Koto - Natsu no Sora in 2008.

The first and the third manga series in the years 2003 and 2008 by the Works Studios View / JCStaff and Hal Filmmaker adapted into an anime television series.

Action

The adventures of 17 -year-old magically gifted Yume Kikuchi are portrayed in him traveling to Tokyo to start her magic training. The girl Yume wants to become a nationally recognized sorceress. The task of sorcerers is to fulfill the wishes of their clients. Fortunately, she is however always the instructor Masami Oyamada aside.

During her training, she met among others the desire of a legless boy after a football match, or picnicking along with a teacher and his students on the moon. But they also experienced sad moments, such as when they met their last wish of a dying woman to be allowed to see her in a car accident killed whilst daughter again. The latter experience takes her so that she even plays with the idea of ​​giving up the magic. But her instructor Oyamada had a painful experience that made him despair of magic in the past.

The manga was published in Germany in Panini as a shōjo manga and comprises two volumes. In Japan, the manga was published by Kadokawa Shoten in 2002. A sequel was Someday 's Dreamers in a 5 -volume manga, the way the sun and the wind also appears on German under the title at Planet Manga.

In 2007, Norie Yamada and Kumichi Yoshizuki began their work on the third title Maho Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto - Natsu no Sora (Japanese魔法遣いに大切なこと~夏 の ソラ~ ).

Anime

The anime consists of 12 episodes and was produced in 2003 by JCStaff in collaboration with View Works. Directed by Masami Shimoda, the character design was revised by Michinori Chiba and Nobue Yoshinaga and Junichiro Nishikawa took over the artistic direction. The leading line in the animation was taken over by Keiko Kawashima. In the Japanese TV series was first shown on 9 January to 27 March 2003 to TV Asahi.

The series was both released in Japan, the U.S. and France on DVD.
