Sonaguera

Sonaguera is a municipality in the north of Honduras. It is located in the department of Colón. In Sonaguera 12,033 people ( as of 2005).

History

Sonaguera was founded in 1791. Life in Sonaguera is dominated by agriculture. In the region of different varieties of oranges grow. On 23 September of each year hosts the National oranges Festival in Sonaguera.
