Sondre Lerche
Sondre Lerche ( born September 5, 1982 in Bergen) is a Norwegian singer, guitarist and songwriter. 2002 Lark received the Spellemannprisen, the most important music award in Norway, for best new artist. The Rolling Stone Magazine scored the album " Faces Down" one of the 50 best albums of the year 2002.
Life
At age 13, Sondre Lerche wrote his first songs, with which he in a club where his sister worked, occurred. Where he met the producer HP Gundersen know who taught him basic skills in composing. During his studies, he is oriented to as idols, a-ha and takes his first EPs, " You Know So Well " (2000) and "No One 's Gonna Come" ( 2001),. Also the first album "Faces Down", which is also published in the U.S., created in this period. Until the production of his second album " Two Way Monologue " with which he began in 2003, he went with his backing band " The Faces Down" in Norway, Canada and the United States on tour. In 2006 his third album " Duper Sessions", which was released as the two predecessors in Germany.
