Sophie Dessus

Sophie Dessus (* September 24, 1955 in Suresnes ) is a French politician. She is the National Assembly since 2012 MPs.

Dessus grew up in Paris, but went at the age of 19 years after Uzerche to work as a farmer. In 1995 she moved into the council of Uzerche, elected in 2001 to Mayor. In 1998 she moved also in the General Council of the department of Corrèze, whose vice president she was 2008. In the parliamentary elections in 2007, she was deputy of the Socialist Martine Leclerc, the extremely narrowly failed in the election in the third constituency of the department of Corrèze. In 2012 she was elected in the first constituency with 51.4 % of MPs and thus inherited François Hollande, the president had become.
