Sopubek Begaliev

Sopubek Begalijewitsch Begaliew ( Kyrgyz / Russian Сопубек Бегалиевич Бегалиев; born March 29, 1931 † 9 October 2002) was a Soviet- Kyrgyz economist and politician. He was the founder of the community of nations in Kyrgyzstan, an organization that inter-ethnic harmony, public peace and order and unanimity promotes. Through his efforts, succeeded Begalijew the foundation for a strong and peaceful society in the country to create. Other successor states of the Soviet Union followed the Kyrgyz model.

Life and career

Soviet time

Sopubek Begalijew was born in the village of Chon- Tash, Location Tschüi, Kyrgyz SSR near the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek. After graduating from the Moscow Plekhanov Academy of Economics in 1954, he began his career as an economist at Gosplan, the central committee for economic planning in the Soviet Union. There he rose in 1960 to the rank of Deputy Chairman on. In 1962 he became Minister for Local Economy and in 1963, due to a restructuring of the ministry, then Minister of Municipal Economy. A year later he returned to Gosplan, where he was appointed " First deputy chairman ".

In 1968 Begalijew served both as Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz SSR, as well as chairman of Gosplan. Over two decades he led the authority of the economic development of this region. During his Soviet career Begalijew was re-elected six times as parliamentarians and received three times the " Order of the Red Banner of Labor ." Kyrgyz independence

In 1997 Begalijew the Prestige Order of Manas was awarded for his lifetime achievements in the service of the public, as well as for his contribution to the promotion of inter - ethnic harmony and also to promote the development of the National Assembly in the now independent Kyrgyzstan. From the Russian President Vladimir Putin, he was awarded the Order of Friendship in 2001.
