The players decide consciously for their characters perform actions that either benefit or harm humanity, meaning risking this often by the fact that they receive or use demonic forces. So the players make significant statements about the humanity as defined topic. The demons are also defined by the group. These can range up to confident, powerful artifacts of classic demons powerful artificial intelligences.

" The Sorcerer's Soul ," which focuses on humanity and demons and angels brings. "Sex and Sorcerer", the new looks listing on player interaction and story generation.

Criticism

Sorcerer differs from the usual RPG stereotypes and expectations significantly. Expressed in terms of the author conveniently supplied GNS theory, there is a game for narrativistic. Those who have a simulationistischen or - to a lesser extent - prefer a gamistischen approach will be able to do much with the style and the control mechanisms, whereby Sorcerer has no intention to use these styles of playing.
