Sören Bartol

Sören Bartol ( born September 4, 1974 in Hamburg ) is a German politician ( SPD).

Life and career

After graduation in 1993 at the high school in Detmold Leopoldinum Bartol earned a degree in political science, law and media studies at the University of Marburg, which he finished in 2001 with a degree in political science. From 2000 to 2002, Bartol employee of the Hessian Landtag Ernst- Ludwig Wagner.

Party

Bartol was 1990 member of the SPD even as a schoolboy. He first became involved with the Young Socialists and was from 1992 to 1993 the Deputy Chairman subdistrict in lip and 1995-2002 Chairman of the sub-district of Marburg -Biedenkopf.

Since 2010 he is again chairman of the SPD sub-district of Marburg -Biedenkopf.

Member of Parliament

Since 2001, Bartol serves on the council of the district of Marburg -Biedenkopf.

Since 2002 he is member of the German Bundestag. Here he is, since February 2005 Chairman of the State Hessen in the SPD parliamentary group. Since October 2005, Bartol is also deputy speaker group of young deputy " Youngsters " in the SPD and was deputy from December 2005 to October 2011 the Group's spokesperson work for Transport, Building and Urban Development.
