Sośnica, West Pomeranian Voivodeship

Sośnica ( German Herzberg ) is a village in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland. The village is part of the gmina Wierzchowo (Town Virchow ) in the powiat Drawski ( Dramburger circle).

Geographical location

The village is located in Eastern Pomerania, about 15 km south of the city Czaplinek ( Tempelburg ). Through the town into north-south direction, the province road 177 The nearest neighbor sites are in the West Będlino ( Neuhof ) and in the east Ortzep ( Friedrichshorst ).

Previously was in Herzberg a railway station in train German crown Virchow. The railway line is now closed.

History

The village Herzberg was created in 1765.

Before 1945, Herzberg formed a rural municipality in the district of Pomerania in the Prussian province of Pomerania.

The Church of Herzberg was a timber-framed building from the 19th century. In the church there was a pulpit altar of 1725, who came from the former evangelical church in the city Tempelburg.
