Soszyce, Pomeranian Voivodeship

Soszyce ( German August field, Kashubian Soszëce ) is a village in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship and is part of the rural municipality Czarna Dąbrówka ( Black Damerkow ) in Bytowski powiat ( county Buetow ).

Soszyce - the place name Soszyce there again in the region of Łódź - is located in a forest surrounded by gently rolling landscape at the old post of Łupawa ( Lupow ) to Mikorowo ( Mickrow ). The place can be reached from Karwno ( Karwendel ) from. A rail connection does not exist.

By 1945, the then August the field was a town within the municipality Karwendel. Therefore, its history is closely connected with the history Karwens. The community Karwendel belonged to the district of Stolp in Pomerania Region of the Prussian province of Pomerania.

After 1945, the now -called Soszyce place became part of Poland and is now a village in Gmina Czarna Dąbrówka in powiat Bytowski in the Pomeranian Voivodeship ( 1975-1998 Slupsk voivodship ).

Ecclesiastical August field was aligned to 1945 after Mickrow to the parish in the Church of the Province of Pomerania Church of the Old Prussian Union it belonged.

Today Soszyce the church is assigned Łupawa ( Lupow ), which belongs to the same deanery in the Diocese of Pelplin of the Catholic Church in Poland. Protestant church members belong to the Holy Cross Church in Slupsk ( Stolp ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland.
