South Khorasan Province

South Khorasan (Persian خراسان جنوبی, pronounced Khorasan -e Jonūbī, Khorasan ( " Land of the Rising Sun" ) ), formerly Ghahestan / Kuhestan ( " mountains " ) / Birjand is an Iranian province. The capital is Birjand.
