Souzay-Champigny

Souzay -Champigny is a commune with 771 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Maine -et -Loire in the Pays de la Loire. It belongs to the district of Saumur and Saumur Canton -Sud. The municipality is located 6 km east of Saumur and consists of two settlements, which are about 2 km apart, and Souzay Champigny. The merger of the two places dates back to the year 1930. The municipality is part of the Regional Natural Park Loire -Anjou- Touraine.
