Spaladium Arena

The Spaladium Arena is a multi-purpose hall in the center of the Croatian city of Split.

The hall is part of the Spaladium Centar. It can hold up to 12,000 spectators. In the hall next to sporting events, but also events, exhibitions and fairs are held.

The hall was one of the venues for the World Handball Championship for Men 2009.

After laying the foundation stone for the Spaladium Arena on September 4, 2007, the official opening took place on 27 December 2008. The construction costs amounted to 50 million euros.
