Spanish people

Castilian (Spanish: castellanos ) refers to the inhabitants of the historic kingdom and the present geographical region of Castile in northern and central Spain.

In German, sometimes called Castilian Castilian Spaniards or those Spanish citizens who do not speak a regional language ( Basque, Galician and Catalan). The alternative designation Castilian ( castellano ) is also used officially used for the Spanish language for the construction of an ethnic group, although this itself is not so common in Spain and includes the Spanish / Castilian language area in Spain regions with different regional identities.

The problem used to this, and occasionally in German usage, definition of the Castilian first is the fact that this is an empirically untenable division of Spain's population is postulated in several ethnic groups, on the other hand, that the Castilian region only a part of the Spanish language area in Spain accounts.
