Spay (Sarthe)

Spay is a municipality in the department of Sarthe, southwest of Le Mans.

The 2890 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) scoring a town in the region of Pays de la Loire and lies on the banks of the Sarthe.

Sights of Spay are a church from the 12th century and a nearby zoo, the Spaycific'Zoo, with a twelve meter high and 2500 m² aviary.

Since 1983 there is a community partnership with the located in the municipality Rhens in Rhineland-Palatinate district of Mayen -Koblenz local church Spay.
