Spencer Gordon Bennet
Spencer Gordon Bennet ( born January 5, 1893 in Brooklyn, New York City, New York, † October 8, 1987 in Santa Monica, California ) was an American film director.
Career
One of his most famous films is Batman and Robin from the year 1949. In 1948 he also directed the serial Superman. Bennet resulted in a total of 122 films and serials directed, produced eight films and appeared in four films as an actor. Therefore, he was also known as "The Serial King" and "The King of Serial Directors" known.
His daughter Harriet Bennet (1920-2006) occurred occasionally as an actress.
