Speyburn is a whiskey distillery in Rothes, Morayshire, Scotland. It is located in the Speyside whiskey region. The distillery is owned by Inverhouse Distillers Ltd.. The distillery buildings are partially sorted in the Scottish lists of monuments in the B category.

General

As one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland the Speyburn Distillery is situated on the outskirts of the village of Rothes, in a narrow valley in the forest, not far from the River Spey, whose name not only of the distillery, but the entire region Speyside with currently more than 50 producing Whiskydestillen was the inspiration.

History

The distillery was founded in 1897 Speyburn.
