Spiros Livathinos

Spyros Livathinos (Greek Σπύρος Λιβαθηνός, born June 8, 1955 in Patras, Greece ) is a former Greek football player.

Spyros Livathinos began his career with the youth academies of Panathinaikos Athens, where he played until the summer of 1975, when he was offered a professional contract and he moved to the men's team of the club. In the following eleven years won the acting in midfield Livathinos next three Greek Championships (1977, 1984, 1986), four cups (1977, 1982, 1984, 1986) and came to a total of 267 Erstligaeinsätze and 43 goals. In 1988 Livathinos to Cyprus where he joined the local first division Pezoporikos Larnaca and at the same time acted as a coach next to the function as a player and in 1988 even was able to win the championship and qualified for the cup final.

In the following years Livathinos worked for various Greek football clubs, such as Ethnikos Asteras or Panachaiki Patras as coach, before returning to Panathinaikos and today there fills the role of chief scout.

During his active career Spyros Livathinos was called 27 times in the Greek national football team, scoring one goal.
