Splitska banka

The Splitska banka d.d. ( Ger. Bank of Split) is a credit institution from Croatia in the legal form of a corporation associated with seat in Split / Croatia and since 30 June 2006 on the banking group Société Générale from France.

The Bank has 9 % market share by its own account and is one of the largest banks in Croatia. It maintains 112 branches and has more than 460,000 customers, including more than 2,000 companies.

History

Prior to the acquisition by the Unicredit was the Croatian Splitska banka, acquired in 2002 by Bank Austria by 132 million euros, was in the course of integration of Bank Austria Unicredit due observance of EU antitrust rules to the French Société Générale around 1 billion. € sold.
