Spot analysis

The spot test is a method of qualitative chemical analysis. In the spot test smallest amounts of sample to be analyzed and a reagent in a well of a spot plate are brought together. The total volume of sample and reagent is approximately from 0.5 to 1 ml from the occurrence of a color reaction or precipitation can be concluded that the presence of components to be determined in the sample.
