Spur (architecture)

Eckblatt or Eckknollen is an ornament in architecture at the base of a column.

The Eckblatt is the mediation between the four corners of the rectangular base plate (base) and the rest on this lowest member of the base. Most often we find the leaf shape, less often other ornaments, rare animal forms.
