With a population of 3188 ( as of March 31, 2013), the population density is 4.3 inhabitants per square kilometer. The municipality is located in Oppland Fylke in the upper Gudbrandsdal and is managed by the City Hundorp. The highest elevation is the Blåkollen with a height of 1,580 meters.
