SS-Zivilabzeichen

The SS badge was a civilian lapel pin, worn only on civilian clothes and only to members of the Schutzstaffel (SS) has been issued. You should make membership in the SS also at occasions it clear to which one was not in uniform.

History

The SS badge was issued civil since 1932, and only to members of the SS and only on written request. Condition was one belonging to the SS for more than six months.

There were two versions, a standard version made of non-ferrous metal and a more expensive silver. In case of loss of silver could be ordered only in execution. For an extra charge you could also purchase a needle backup.
