SSL International is a British company that manufactures sanitary products. The most popular brands are Durex and Scholl, other well-known brands are Sauber and Mister Baby. The company name (company) is the abbreviation of Seton Scholl London International. The company was up to its acquisition by Reckitt Benckiser on the London Stock Exchange listed FTSE 250 Index, ISIN GB0007981128.

Company History

The company was formed in May 1999 by the merger of Seton Scholl ( which in June 1998 by the merger of Seton Scholl Healthcare and originated ) and London International Group (formerly London Rubber Company, the maker of Durex ). For the merging of the two companies was the first CEO of SSL - Stuart Wallis - responsible. Stuart Wallis has left the company in 2001.

From 2002 to 2004, the company has all the medical and industrial sectors sold in order to concentrate on its core business. 2009, the product K.LAUS ( No louse ) was introduced commercially.

In 2010 the company of Reckitt Benckiser RB was purchased. This RB has brands such as Durex, Finish, Air Wick, Vanish, Dettol, Scholl, Nurofen and Veet.
