St Catherine's Castle

St Catherine's Castle is a ruined castle in Cornwall, in southwest England. It is in this a small artillery fort, which may have been in the time of Henry VIII to protect the harbor of the town of Fowey built. The castle consists of a lower part with cannon - holes, which were renewed again in 1855 and the overlying castle from the 16th century. Today the castle is in the care of English Heritage.
