Location

The Damenstiftskirche (ladies Stiftstraße 1 ) is located in the historic Old Town district Hack at Altheimer Eck.

History

Built in 1440, Duke Albrecht III. Bayern Munich a chapel at the house of Indersdorfer monastic community in Altheim, then still an independent village in the area of ​​today's road " Altheimer Eck". The architect was Johann Baptist Gunetzrhainer, the Interior took over the Asam brothers. The convent church was consecrated in 1735.

The convent church was destroyed in the Second World War to the outer walls. 1980 was rebuilt by Erwin Schleich.
