St. Leonard, Quebec

Saint- Léonard is one of 19 arrondissements of the city of Montreal in the Canadian province of Québec. Before 2002 it was a separate municipality. In 2011, the 13.5 km ² large city district counted 75 707 inhabitants.

Geography

Saint- Léonard is located in the northern part of the Ile de Montréal. Adjacent arrondissements the city of Montreal Anjou are in the north, and Mercier - Hochelaga -Maisonneuve in the East, Rosemont -La Petite- Patrie in the southeast, Villeray -Saint -Michel- Parc- Extension in the south and Montréal-Nord in the West.

History
