Stabbing Westward was an American Alternative-Rock-/Industrial-Rock-Band.

History

The group was founded in 1985 in Chicago, Illinois and played first electro -pop- oriented music with influences from The Cure and New Order. Later, Stabbing Westward were inspired by bands such as Skinny Puppy and Ministry. First studio recordings were made in 1990, followed by four official studio albums. On 9 February 2002, the breakup of the band was announced. You also have the theme song ( The Thing I Hate ) for the Playstation 1 game Duke Nukem: Time To Kill made ​​.
