The Stade de la Libération is a stadium with track and field facility in Boulogne -sur -Mer in the Pas -de- Calais in the northernmost region of France ( Nord-Pas -de- Calais ). The U.S. Boulogne here has their sporting home. Another user of the stadium is the athletics club Boulogne Athlétique Club. In October 1949, construction began, but the stadium was opened on 1 July 1956.

After the rise in 2007 to the second division some construction work was necessary.

  • Renovation of dressing rooms

After this renovation, the stadium had 8,700 seats. Due to the rise of the U.S. Boulogne in May 2009 in the Ligue 1, the arena was again enlarged to 15,004 spectators.
