Stade (district)

The Stade is a district in the north of Lower Saxony. It belongs to the Hamburg metropolitan region and is bordered to the west largely following the course of the Oste to the district of Cuxhaven, on the east by the city of Hamburg, in the southeast of the district of Harburg, and on the southwest by the district of Rotenburg (Wümme ).
