The Stade Pierre Pibarot is a stadium in Alès, Gard in the Languedoc- Roussillon (France) region. It is named after the born in Alès, former football player and coach Pierre Pibarot. Opened in 1933 as the Stade Municipal de la Prairie it got in 1980 its currently valid name. Following the merger of Olympique Alès Cévennes with sports was built in 1947 a new grandstand. She got the name of the then President of Cévennes André Larguier. In 1992 a new West Stand was built; which replaced the old wooden grandstand. It now offers 9,000 seats ( including 5,600 seats).
