The Stade Robert Champroux is a multi-purpose stadium in Abidjan, the former Hauptsdtadt the Ivory Coast. It was named after the former French boxer and later boxing promoter Robert Champroux, who established his sport since 1950 in the Ivory Coast. On the investment in Marcory district football and rugby to be played, also concerts and other major events take place in the stadium. Up to 20,000 spectators can be accomodated there. The laying of the artificial turf in 2007 was made because the place no longer met requirements of FIFA for international matches because of its intensive use.

On October 11, 2008, officials in a qualifying match for the 2010 World Cup at the Stade Robert Champroux the national teams of Ivory Coast and Madagascar each other. This won the Ivorians 3-0.
