The stadium Allmendfeld, also known colloquially Allmendfeld, was the city-owned stadium of football club FC Lucerne. The stadium was on the outskirts of Lucerne in central Switzerland. The sports complex was opened ringsrum with a wooden stand and several soccer fields, 1934. Over the years there have been some renovations; so in 1957 the grandstand was expanded to 2,500 seats. Between 1981 and 1983, the main and the covered standing terrace of FCL fans was renewed. In 1995, the covered North rank was added to the name LUMAG Tribune.

Last possessed the venue four stands; which covered three and a Hintertorrang were unfunded. Right next to the stadium Allmendfeld was a track and field facility. It provided a theoretical capacity of 25,000 spectators. For security reasons, the Swiss Football Association (SFV ) but left only 13,000 spectators ( 4,500 covered seats; 1,400 uncovered seats and 7,100 standing) to the stadium. The attendance record with 26,000 spectators dated from 1993 and was in a Auf-/Abstiegsrundenspiel against FC Basel; prepared (4:1 victory for Luzern ).

Because the stadium was no longer fit for league since 2007, a new building on the same site was planned. The last game in the old stadium was held on June 13, 2009 between FC Luzern and FC Lugano (5:0) instead. After meeting many fans took a souvenir, like a piece of lawn or seats, out of the stadium. In the summer of 2009, the demolition of the old venue was decided in August and work began. The new stadium was named Swissporarena and holds around 17,000 seats. While the new building, which was completed in the summer of 2011, the FC Luzern Emmen played bridge in Gersag Stadium.
