Staffan Tapper (* July 10, 1948 in Malmö) is a former Swedish football player.

The defensive midfielder Staffan Tapper played his entire career at Malmö FF. With this club he became Swedish champion and reached the 1979 final of the European Champion Clubs' Cup against Nottingham Forest. The finale lost his team 0-1. For the Swedish national football team, he participated in the World Cup finals in 1974 and 1978. In the first game of the second final round of the 1974 World Cup in Germany, he missed a penalty against the Polish goalkeeper Tomaszewski January. The game was lost 0-1. In the next game his team lost against Germany 2:4 and was eliminated from the tournament.
