Stahlhammer
Steel hammer is an Austrian Metal-/NDH-Band, which was founded in 1992 by Michael Stocker and Gary Wheeler.
History
In 1995, the band released their first album " killer instinct ". This album was stylistically attributable to the Thrash Metal. On this album, there is also a cover version of Pink Floyd's " Another Brick in the Wall". Then, vocalist Gary Wheeler the band. In its place Georgiy Aleksandrovich Makazaria joined with which one "Wiener Blut " and " The enemy is listening " recorded. Stahlhammer they covered on the latter album two famous songs by Falco ( "Mother, the man with the coke is there ", " Jeanny "), which became a part of Falco CyberShow. After this album Makazaria left the band to pursue other projects ( including the ska band founded Russkaya ). After hearing a few years nothing of the band, they came forward in 2002 with " iron heart " back on the old singer Gary Wheeler again took over the microphone. In 2004, she released her fifth album, followed by a club tour throughout Europe. The album contained the cover song to Falco's " Out of the Dark ". Her current album Opera Noir contains some cover songs from the 80's, among others, Phil Collins ' " In the Air Tonight".
