Stahlmann

Steel man is a German band that was formed in 2008 in Göttingen and is counted to the music direction of New German hardness.

History

The band was formed in 2008 in Göttingen. The band initially consisted Mart and Alex, and later was joined by Tobi. The following year, 2009, the debut EP was released heartbeat, with which the band got in the Top 20 of the German Alternative Charts. Through concerts with renowned artists from the metal and medieval rock area, such as, among others, Doro, In Extremo and Xavier Rudd, steel man built his reputation is steadily.

2010 steel man went on a tour that was presented by the music magazine Zillo. The debut album Stahlmann was published on 17 September 2010 on the record label AFM Records. On September 3, the single hate me ... love me appeared. Also in September 2010, the band as a support for Icebreaker in Germany, Austria and Switzerland was underway. It is through this support slot got steel man in the NDH scene much attention.

The second album, with the name of mercury appeared on 20 January 2012 and abolished in the first week on the chart at No. 39 on the German album charts.

For personal reasons, adopted the meantime band member Alex of the band, but this is still at times for shows are available. By late 2012, Stahlmann use various guest musicians for live shows.

On March 1, 2013 appeared with Addict the first single from the third album Adamant. The single has been sold out for a place 6 in the German Alternative Charts already on the publication date.

With the new music video for the second single from the album Black steel man presented on April 5, 2013, his new cast consisting of Soer Martin on vocals, Tobi Berkefeld on guitars, Niklas Kahl on drums and AblaZ on bass. Devil, the singer of dancing feet, also has a guest appearance in this song.

In the fall of 2013 Tobi leaving for professional reasons the band whose items by Neill Freiwald is nimmen.
