Stan Lynch

Stan Lynch ( born May 21, 1955 in Cincinnati ) is a songwriter and (music) producer. From 1976 to 1994 he was the drummer of the band Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers.

In 1994 he left the band due to differences with Tom Petty. He went back to Florida and began with Don Henley 's comeback album by The Eagles, Hell Freezes Over, together. He then went on tour with the Eagles.

Since 1995 he is also working with Toto, for example, he co-wrote some of the tracks on the album Tambu.

In 2002, he rejoined Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, as they were included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

He is currently working in St. Augustine, Florida, as a songwriter and producer.
