Stanislav Zhmakin
Stanislaw Vitalyevich Schmakin (Russian Станислав Витальевич Жмакин; born June 25, 1982 in Penza) is a Russian ice hockey player who stands in October 2012 in Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.
Career
Stanislaw Schmakin began his career as a hockey player in the subprime Wysschaja league in which he was active until 2003 from 2001 for Disel Pensa and Yuzhny Ural Orsk. Then, the attacker moved to HK Lada Togliatti, for whom he made his debut in the Russian Super League in season 2003/ 04. After he started the following season with Lada, he finished it in its league rivals Salavat Yulaev Ufa from 2005 to 2008 was the Russian again for the HK Lada Togliatti on the ice and won with his team at the European level the 2006 IIHF Continental Cup. For the season 2008/ 09 changed Schmakin to HK CSKA Moscow of the Kontinental Hockey League newly established. For the capital city, he scored three goals in 54 games and was preparing another eleven before. For the 2009/10 season he was then obliged by climbers Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg, which had taken over the license of the insolvent Chimik Woskressensk.
He spent the following season with Severstal Cherepovets, before he was signed in June 2011 from HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk. End of December 2011, he moved again within the KHL to Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk, for which he, however, until end of season just eight games completed. In May 2012, he joined together with Nikita Schtschitow to HK Spartak Moscow, in which he received a contract for two year term, but already returned in October of the same year to Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg.
