Stanisław Nagy

Stanisław Kazimierz Cardinal Nagy SCJ ( born September 30, 1921 in Old Berun, † June 5, 2013 in Kraków ) was a Polish theologian and cardinal.

Life

Stanisław Nagy, son of a Hungarian father and a Polish mother, joined in 1937 the Congregation of the Sacred Heart priest, studied in Cracow and Lublin trays Catholic theology and philosophy. In 1970 he was also director of the newly founded Department of Comparative Religious Studies and Ecumenical Theology. From 1973, he also took a teaching position at the University of Breslau true.
