Stanisław Sojka

Stanisław Sojka ( born April 26, 1959 in Zory ) is a Polish jazz singer and composer.

The career of jazz vocalists Sojka started in 1979, when he won a regional jazz festival and in the same year published his first LP. This live album Do Not Cry with international jazz standards was equal to a popular record of the Polish youth. In 1990 his album Acoustic, which was successful on the jazz scene beyond. In 1991 he was the winner of the Festival of Polish Song in Opole and 1992, the international festival of Sopot. He also received the 1996 award for Best Fryderyk vocal artist of the year.
