Stanisław Waśkiewicz

Stanisław Waskiewicz ( born September 9, 1947 in Drzewica, Poland, † 28 September 2012 in Streamwood, Illinois) was a Polish middle distance runner, who specializes in the 800 -meter distance.

He won three medals with the Polish team at the Indoor Athletics Championships: silver in the mixed relay in Vienna in 1970 and bronze in the 4 x 720- meter relay in 1972 in Grenoble.

His personal best time of 1:46,8 min he set up in Warsaw on 28 June 1971.

1970 and 1972 he was Polish champion.
