Stanisław Żmijan

Stanisław Żmijan ( born December 13, 1956 in Tarnogród ) is a Polish politician, Platforma Obywatelska ( Civic Platform ).

Life

Żmijan studied at the Politechnika Lubelska and was there in 1980 for engineering construction and plumbing. He then worked as an intern and a laboratory technician at the highway department of Lublin. 1982 to 1983 he was a student at the cadet school in Inowrocław. In 1983 Stanisław Żmijan led the work in the Directorate of Public Roads in Lublin. From 1984 he was deputy director for this area in Włodawa. He was in Międzyrzec Podlaski Director of the Office of Public Roads, 1992 Director of the Company for road and bridge construction and in 2000 president of the company in 1989. 1990 to 1998 he was also active in the city Międzyrzec Podlaski advice. 1998 to 2001 he sat in the Parliament of the Lublin province. He was first elected to the Sejm in 2001. In 2005 he was again able to win with 7708 votes a seat. In the early parliamentary elections in 2007, he joined in the constituency to 7 Chelm and was able to win with 17,606 votes, a mandate for the Sejm. He is the Commission on Infrastructure and Member of the Commission of Agriculture and Rural Development since 2007 Vice Chairman.
