Star Hellas
Miss Greece is an annual national beauty pageant for unmarried women in Greece. Today's competition will be held under the name of Star Hellas ( Σταρ Ελλάς ) since 1952.
But there were already before the Second World War, beauty contests, but they are handed down only patchy: The winner of 1930, Aliki Diplarakou was in the same year under the name Alice Diplarakou Miss Europe. Before and after you took part in this competition four other Greek candidates in part.
The winner of Star Hellas each takes part in the Miss Universe, while the selected at the same event since 1990 Miss Hellas represents her country at the Miss World.
