Stara Pazova

Stara Pazova ( Serbian Cyrillic Стара Пазова; Slovak: Stara Pazova; German: Alt- Pasua, Alt- Pazua or Pazua; Hungarian Ópazova ) is a town in Serbia. It has about 18,500 inhabitants and is the administrative seat of Opština Stara Pazova.

During the Ottoman domination settled in Pazova mainly Serbs. In the 18th century, settled here and Slovaks and German. The German community living mainly in the district of Nova Pazova. By the 20th century, the Slovaks were the largest ethnic group in Pazova.
