Criticism

" The crazy crime caper is located against the backdrop of dreary Danish everyday life and her subject, not only for pure genre cinema, but describes the tragicomic cosmos of their anti-heroes a warm welcome and sympathy. Intelligent conversation with a conciliatory end that easily finds the right balance between emotions and restrained action. "

"That, Stealing Rembrandt ' - so much to tell - to wrests also its rich tangles with a handle to the family Rührkabinett at the end, is disappointing. Otherwise, the actor must be praised in this film worked cleanly, as you have to blame a synchronous directed that distorts their services beyond recognition. Perhaps the Danish tolerate just bad with the German language. Annoying is anyway, because, Stealing Rembrandt ' is a film that relies entirely on the appeal of its characters and their social characteristics. And it remains nothing if all speak merely in the same Schnodderton. "

"Stealing Rembrandt - claws for Beginners is a delightful, comical thriller that mainly because of its excellent actors, the best Denmark has to offer, always surprised. Also, the plot always holds bizarre twists - up to the last moment. For the friends of Scandinavian comedies of type Elling or Kitchen Stories Stealing Rembrandt is a must. "

Johnny Michael Ramkvist, Kim Allan Skydsgaard Holm and Brian Holm Carlo were sentenced to five, four and three years in prison. The maximum punishment was six years each.
