Course

It originates from the Ziegelsee at Mölln, and flows near Lübeck in the Travelodge. The Stecknitz was already regulated as Stecknitz in the Middle Ages and related to the opening into the same Delvenau in conjunction. Since the renewed expansion of the late 19th century is called the 62- km-long waterway between the Elbe and Trave Elbe -Lübeck Canal. Along the canal, the backwaters of the Stecknitz are still recognizable.
