Stefan Karlsson

Stefan Mellgård ( born November 5, 1955 formerly known as Stefan Karlsson ) is a former Swedish badminton player. He is one of the most important players of his country in badminton.

Career

Culmination of his long and successful career was winning the Badminton Championships in 1980 in a double with Claes Nordin and 1982 with Thomas Kihlström. At the World Championships 1985 he won bronze in mixed doubles with Maria Bengtsson.
